I don't remember my teeth taking this long to fall out, but Micah had that loose tooth in his mouth for over 4 months. Erik finally convinced him to let him pull the thing out last night. And it pretty much fell out into his hands.
There are at least 3 more teeth in his mouth that are loose, and I'm thinking -- after his first visit from the tooth fairy -- they might not be too far behind :)

Next comes the awkward stage. Adult teeth coming in to a mouth that is a little too small for them. I feel sorry for any of my children who inherit the buck teeth I had as a child...
(kinda wishing I had a picture handy right now to prove it :)

oh man, I had the worst buck teeth! Max's adult teeth are actually pretty good in proportion to the rest of his mouth. Here's hoping. Come to think of it, Paul has fairly small teeth, so maybe he'll take after that side of the family. Max has lost 5 teeth and the tooth fairy keeps forgetting. He hasn't even asked about it. Maybe we'll have to do a lump sum. :)
Way to go Micah! Woo Hoo!!!!
You know, it's weird - Mikayla is 7 years old and has only lost one tooth so far. And no other loose ones as far as I can tell yet. I guess everyone loses them at different times...
You had buck teeth? Did you wear braces then?
My kiddo and I were talked about losing teeth today and getting adult teeth. He asked if once he gets adult teeth if that makes him and adult!
Yes, I did have braces - just for 6 months in grade 6 so nothing major. When you're that young, having braces is pretty cool :)
Just happened across your blog...gorgeous family!
