Got the Giggles?

Getting Sleepy

Micah has lately been in the habit of getting up at 5:45 every single morning. No matter what I do, I cannot seem to break him of this. I'm trying to change his nap schedule a little bit and put him to bed later but so far nothing has helped. Here he is the other day, desperate to go down for his morning nap. Maybe if he would sleep a bit later he wouldn't be so tired...

Let me just rest my head a moment...

Weekday Friends

Micah has two new friends that I take care of two days a week. S is a week older than Micah and K is 3. Here they are hanging out.

Sunday Afternoon

It has become a tradition that we Toews' all hang out as a family on Sunday. It starts with Sunday lunch and often ends up spanning for the whole day. Here we are yesterday hanging out at "Grandpa & Grandma"'s and also at the Apollo pool later in the afternoon.

Micah consistently provides great entertainment while we all relax.

Singing songs with Grandma.

With Uncle Doug & Auntie Elissa.

In the pool with mom.

Uncle Doug is weird.

Upstairs

Micah can't say a lot of words yet, but he seems to understand plenty. If we talk about going upstairs or say anything about Grandpa & Grandma, he runs to the door and cries until we take him up. He loves being upstairs and hanging out with "bapa" (this term refers to both Grandpa & Grandma).

Spending time with my Auntie Kristi before she leaves for Australia.

This big colourful ball is my favourite "upstairs" toy. Hmmm, where do I want to live...?

Hey, there's a hole in this.

Rough Day

It's tough being a toddler as it is - add to that a sinus cold and teething, and I'm pretty much done in. I couldn't even stay awake to finish my new baby einstein dvd.

Rain, Rain, Go Away

Well, apparently we're about to break some records for the amount of consecutive rain days we've had here in the Fraser Valley. On the news they said we've had something like 6 hours of total sunlight over the last 25 days or so. The backyard is like a giant soggy sponge and we're pretty much cooped up all day - everyday. The good news? We noticed that some of the trees are already budding and we even heard rumour that some tulips might be poking up. But right now we are missing the colder - but much sunnier - winter of the prairies.
