Keziah got a new life jacket last week.
It's pink.
She figured she'd wear it for playing... you know, in case of a flash flood or something.
Always good to be prepared I guess.
And Micah got a new bike helmet.
It's a Batman one.
He barely took it off for an entire week.
Other than being asleep and being at school, the thing was on his head constantly.
To the point where the strap was all ketchup-stained from getting in the way at mealtime.
He even wore it during an entire play-date at his friend's farm one afternoon.
Let's just say, when it comes to safety, we've got our bases covered.

that is so cute :) my kids are all over wearing their helmets but throw a temper tantrum at the thought of wearing a life jacket...

You're kids are soooo cute!! I've thought about making Olivia where a helmet 24/7 but never actually followed through. A month ago we were walking uptown, and she tripped right beside me and scraped the side of her face up very nicely!

It's funny how kids just love those sort of things. Very cute that he even wore it for a whole playdate!
Hahahaha! That last picture is AWESOME! He's got that look of, "oh yeah... this is where its at!" :)
